Quite funny, must watch...how an aspiring songwriter "ambushed" the staff @ TNB. Farhana, you're lucky you're not in Muar. Mcm mana nak complete kerja sekolah kalau asyik blackout je?

Dah basi, tapi ok kan kalau upload? ~Enjoy!
Now it's Bai's turn in 2 weeks time.
Now it's Bai's turn in 2 weeks time.
Baizurah's Hen Night :)
I'm not too sure if the girls are still out to party tonight.
As far as I'm concern, I'm safely home...took a cab with Wani.
We are both very lethargic. Penat sangat.
Fana, this is just a teaser.
More pics and videos (from the Minahs) will be uploaded on FB.
Amacam? Cantik tak?

Muzikaraya 2009: Jom Balik Kampung!
Their trailer.
A for effort. Ada suara Fiza O lagik!
I am proud of you Sang Singa Purba!
Who wouldn't?
I'm sure the rest of the ancient lions (below) will agree with me.
Thank you for giving your best.
And of course, seeing my sis' ex-students from West Spring Sec makes me feel old :p They've all grown up and are working now.
But then again...the taxi uncle said I looked "sweet sixteen".
He thought I'm still schooling. LOL.
Tak malu betul aku ni...!

Abdillah's review on FB:
"A musical about family, kinship and love that surrounds a family wasn't something that SSP had ventured on before, especially when it seemed as if MCYS had sponsored it.
The first ever musical performance without the extravagance of artistic direction had every single bit of raw emotions in the scenes that captivated me and eventually, to tears.
The accompaniment of live music helped keep the atmosphere lively and real and very often, I had to remind myself that there was a live band performing and not from a recording or CD. With a very different type of musical which engaged the audiences to be part of it, this performance by SSP was definitely worth every bit of the $10 spent with $2 going to humanitarian efforts.
For those who didn't catch it, if there's one thing about this that's worth noting and remembering. Forget fireworks, just stick to simplicity.
Bravo SSP!"

If you never fail, you never live.
Life = Risk
I'm in need for motivation.
Guess...this will help you too :)
On a different note, if you're the sort of person who hates to read, you may want to watch this video on H1N1 (Swine Flu). It's a deadly virus...hence the more we should learn about our common enemy.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
I love this. Simple play of words and graphics, yet powerful.
But I'm not too sure the part about Burma though.
Maybe it's time to hit the history books!

Cinta pada keluarga.
Cinta pada kerjaya.
Cinta pada dunia.
Cinta pada akhirat.
Something irreversible that can be fixed from the start.

Project Hope went well. Thanks for your support!
The first thing Elly commented this morning, "Zalinah, what happened? Your eyes!!! They look terrible!"
I am very tired lah.
But I'm glad the show went well yesterday.
To the kind souls who have donated for Project Hope, thank you for the one-million-dollar mark. I'm sure there are more Singaporeans out there who wish to contribute. Fyi, all proceeds will go to Mercy Relief and Singapore based Red Cross and Habitat organisations to help the survivors of the disasters that tore through Sumatra, Philippines and Vietnam by giving them the hope they need to live on. By donating to Project Hope, you'll be providing them the aid they need to rebuild their lives.
The 3 main hotlines are still open till Monday 26 October 2009 for the following donation amounts*:
1900-112 5010 $ 10 donation
1900-112 5020 $ 20 donation
1900-112 5050 $ 50 donation
*Administrative fee of $ 0.21 (inclusive of GST) chargeable for each call
If you have missed the show, do catch the encore telecast on Sunday 25 October 2009 on Suria from 11am to 1pm, and on Channel 5 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
May God bless you for your generosity.
Pictures taken during full dress rehearsal.

TK Band should play this song
Fame by Irene Cara
Songwriters: Pitchford, D and Gore, M
Baby, look at me
And tell me what you see
You ain't seen the best of me yet
Give me time, I'll make you forget the rest
I got more in me, and you can set it free
I can catch the moon in my hand
Don't you know who I am?
Chorus:
Remember my name! (Fame)
I'm gonna live forever
I'm gonna learn how to fly (High)
I feel it coming together
People will see me and cry (Fame)
I'm gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame (Fame)
I'm gonna live forever
Baby, remember my name
Remember, remember, remember, remember
Remember, remember, remember, remember
Baby hold me tight
'Cause you can make it right
You can shoot me straight to the top
Give me love and take all I got to give
Baby I'll return
Too much is not enough
I can ride your heart till it breaks
Ohh, I got what it takes
I dedicate this song to a beauty queen fallen from grace...

Definitely not the "Total Eclipse of my Heart"
The Moon Represents My Heart
in Hanyu Pinyin
ni wen wo ai ni you duo shen
(You ask me how deep is my love for you)
wo ai ni you ji fen
(How much I really love you)
wo de qing ye zhen
(My affection is real)
wo de ai ye zhen
(My love is real)
yue liang dai biao wo de xin
(The moon represents my heart)
ni wen wo ai ni you duo shen
(You ask me how deep is my love for you)
wo ai ni you ji fen
(How much I really love you)
wo de qing bu yi
(My affection does not waver)
wo de ai bu bian
(My love will not change)
yue liang dai biao wo de xin
(The moon represents my heart)
* qing qing de yi ge wen
(Just one gentle kiss)
yi jin da dong wo de xin
(Is enough to move my heart)
shen shen de yi duan qing
(A period of time when our affection was deep)
jiao wo si nian dao ru jin
(Has made me miss you until now)
* ni wen wo ai ni you duo shen
(You ask me how deep is my love for you)
wo ai ni you ji fen
(How much I really love you)
* ** ni qu xiang yi xiang
(Go think about it.)
ni qu kan yi kan
(Go and have a look [at the moon])
yue liang dai biao wo de xin
(The moon represents my heart)
Repeat *
Repeat **
I'm sure you you've heard another great "moon" song by M. Sani which was famously sung by P. Ramlee...
"Engkau laksana bulan
Tinggi di atas kayangan
Hatiku dah kau tawan
Hidupku tak keruan..."
Beautiful, isn't it?
The words. The rhymes. The rhythms.
God, I'm in love.
Musically and literally.

My precious
I was going through my hard drive to relocate some important documents only to find pictures (and more pictures!) of friends, colleagues and nothing else. It's sad that as we grow up, we tend to spend more time outside (at work especially), neglecting quality time with our immediate family members. Yes, I am guilty.
Let's keep it real. Family is far more important than anything else. Treasure them, we must.

Hello Syawal
Found this Tyrex rummaging through my make-up bag.
This year's raya is fun!
Seeing familiar faces with genuine smiles!
To cut cost, we mix & match our old outfits.
The result? Looking brand new as ever.
The best part...introducing a new addition to the Adam's family every year. We just get bigger and BETTER.
Sunshine.
